• The charity’s mission is to support other charitable organizations in their efforts to care for abused and neglected animals through gifts and grants. These funds go toward a range of amazing projects, including hurricane relief, wildfire rescue projects, and shelter and adoption efforts.

In case it wasn’t obvious, we’re big cat lovers at Cat-in-the-Bag. We created our Cozy Comfort Carrier because we wanted a softer, roomier carrier for our beloved cat, Gremlin. And to this day, we continue to advocate for our crate-free cat carriers and share our insight into the mysterious minds of cats on our cat blog.

We’re proud of sponsoring The Allie Foundation, a non-profit animal charity. It’s our way to give back not only to cats but the many animals that need help around the world.

What is The Allie Foundation?

They’re a 501(c) (3) public charity that gives back to animals in need. Their mission is to financially support animal rescue groups. They do this by funding efforts such as providing food, water, and shelter after disasters like wildfires and hurricanes. They have even assisted with animal welfare efforts in Ukraine.

We appreciate them and the organizations that they support for championing animal welfare and providing the medical care, shelter, and services that animals need to not only survive, but thrive.

How Does Their Animal Charity Raise Funds?

The non-profit raises funds in a few ways:

• Live events

Where Do Donations Go?

Some of their recent projects include:

• Raising money for the International Fund for Animal Welfare to help animals in Ukraine
• Raising funds so Brother Wolf Animal Rescue of Asheville, NC could build a new shelter after Hurricane Helene in 2024
• Raising money for Austin Pets Alive after this summer’s flooding in Texas
• Gifting donations to various non-profit animal rescues

How Cat-in-the-Bag Supports the Foundation

We’re committed to helping cats and other animals thrive, just like our friends at The Allie Foundation. This is why we donate our soft cat carriers, gently used and in excellent condition, to rescue organizations that make a request through the animal charity. Our donations directly help with rescuing, transporting, and treating animals under the care of these organizations.

But our cat carrier donations are just part of how we support them. As a sponsor, Cat-in-the-Bag helps raise money for the foundation.
